“Over the almost 3 years Jack was my direct supervisor I experienced a very positive and impactful workplace environment. Jack has always led by example, which makes you want to work as hard as them. They are a very supportive leader. Any idea I had they would almost immediately help me put it in to action and would encourage me to do my best in all things I did.
Jack is great with conflict resolution. They would have the backs of the student employees or full time staff when patrons were being inappropriate or unprofessional. Jack is a very efficient leader as well, such as always staying on top of maintenance issues the second they arose and responding timely to any emails I sent. They were able to manage 15 or so students all while making their schedules and training them, which can be very challenging to do with college students.
Jack also made the work environment fun and lively, always decorating for holidays and coming up with fun group activities for people to do if they want to. I always felt fully supported to be myself and let my creativity shine. I can confidently say I will never have a boss as patient, understanding, hardworking, confident, and admirably tenacious as Jack.
